Pros of iPhone 13

Super Retina XDR Display

Both iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max sport the Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion, 1000 nits, up to 1200 nits’ brightness, and Ceramic Shield protection. The company claims that the device is 28% brighter.

Adaptive Refresh Rate

The latest iPhone Pro devices have Adaptive Refresh rates. It means that when you scroll down the pictures or perform other high-end graphical operations, the iPhone will automatically adapt to 120 Hz and revert the refresh rate back to normal when the phone is on standby. This will accelerate the battery life.

iPhone 13 Pro devices are powered by the six-core A15 Bionic 5nm chip with 64-bit architecture. The company claims this chip to be the most powerful on the planet at the moment.

When you buy any of the iPhone 13 Pro devices, it means you will have an iOS smartphone with the latest upcoming updates as long as you are using it.

Cinematic mode

The Cinematic mode in the latest iPhone 13 Pro devices will let you focus the videos like a Pro. For example, when anyone in the foreground is focused, everything in the background will be blurred. And when the same subject in the foreground turns the face to the other side, the background will be focused automatically. Additionally, you will also have the ability to focus by tapping.

The new Ultrawide camera can let you focus at just 2 centimetres and click stunning macro photography images. You can also shoot Macro videos at an excellent quality on iPhone 13 Pro devices. The ability to take night photos just got better, and there’s 3x optical zoom on the Telephoto and 6x Optical zoom range across the system.

Photographic Styles

Using the photographic styles, you can set a chosen Tone and Warmth settings to your photos. You can also select the company-designed preset such as Warm, Cool, Rich Contrast, or Vibrant to make your photos look better.

You can record videos in ProRes or Dolby Vision using the iPhone 13 Pro devices. The company claims to provide you with the end-to-end workflow of these features on your latest iPhone 13 Pro devices. Cons of iPhone 13

They don’t look different

Apple seems to be so stubborn about the design of its smartphones. Though there are minor changes in terms of the overall design, the latest iPhone 13 device doesn’t look much different compared to its predecessors. That might probably be the same as when the next iPhone will be released. Oh dear, Apple, Apple, Apple? When will you excite us with unique new designs for your smartphones?

Notch

While Android smartphone manufacturers are coming up with exciting ways to get rid of the notch in the top area of the displays, the notch on the Apple smartphones will be there for at least the following year. For those who are not big fans of Notch on the Apple Smartphones, you should think twice before getting the iPhone 13 devices. The company claims that the notch size has decreased by 20 per cent. But does this small change really matter as long as there is a gap at the top of your display?

Expensive

The iPhone 13 devices are expensive. Well, you already knew it even before these devices were launched by the company. Apple should also consider introducing budget smartphones for users in countries like India, where there’s a lot of market for budget smartphones. One reason why Xiaomi is leading the planet among its competitors in terms of sales is India. Countries like India is a vast market for smartphone manufacturers, and the iPhone devices are comparatively costlier in the sub-continent than elsewhere in the world. Apple should seriously work on the same.

Fast Charing only at 20 watts

You see smartphone manufacturers like Xiaomi, who introduce fast charging up to 120 Watts on their latest smartphones. However, Apple does not want its devices to get fast charging in this range. The possible reason behind why the company is so persistent about charging their iPhone devices comparatively slower than other smartphones is because it doesn’t want to mess with the battery life of iPhone devices in the long run. However, the absence of Fast Charging as per the market standards will be a big miss for iPhone 13, considering the competition from Android smartphones.

Apple’s obsession with 12 Megapixels

We have several Android smartphones in the market that provides 48 MP or 108 MP sensor cameras. This is very vital to shoot videos in advanced 8K resolutions. For Apple to offer the 8K in any smartphone, the company should first break the barriers of its traditional 12 MP resolutions. I am not trying to say that the resolution really matters a lot in the overall output of the photo. That’s not what I am saying. The disadvantage that I am referring to is when you have to crop pictures from the images taken using an Apple device. If you crop a 12 MP smartphone, chances are more for you to end up without obtaining the expected result.

These are the major iPhone 13 Pros and Cons.
